AGAMI : The Origin

Established in August 2025, AGAMI began with a simple spark between Kim Min-seok and Lee Da-wit. Today, it stands as a solid quintet of creative souls—Min-seok, Da-wit, Seung-ho, Min-woo, Chan-ho, and Seung-hee—united by a singular musical breath.

This project documents their raw identity, carved out in the alleys of Haebangchon. A testament to their transition from actors to a unified voice, capturing the very moment their journey takes flight.

2024 NIKON HERITAGE LINE CAMPAIGN

Waiting for the Moment
Waiting to capture the contrast and harmony between heritage and youth.
On the streets, capturing the youth of Seongsu-dong and today's street fashion.
For Simpson Kim, there are a few legendary street photographers who have always been objects of his admiration. In their hands was invariably a Nikon FM2. Although Simpson Kim did not belong to the era that experienced the glory of the FM2, he says this exhibition is a great opportunity to do something with the Z f. Having taken street photos for about ten years, the thought of the renowned FM2 and its heritage, which is also part of Nikon's history, urged him even more to hit the streets. With the Z f, continuing the heritage of the FM2, he captured the unique fashion of the young people he met in Seongsu-dong, Seoul.

Yoon Seok-hyeon,
a multidisciplinary designer, is featured in this editorial portrait for Robb Report. Known for his innovative use of Ottchil (traditional Korean lacquer), Yoon’s work bridges heritage and sustainable modern design. Captured in Seoul, this session highlights his journey from Design Academy Eindhoven to being named one of the "7 Designers Moving Forward" in 2024.

Nikon Zf: New Mirrorless Camera Launch Campaign

Selected as one of three featured photographers for the global launch of the Nikon Zf. This integrated campaign involved the production of an official launch film, an artist interview, and a dedicated portrait series captured exclusively with the Zf. The project reinterprets Nikon’s "New Heritage" philosophy by blending classic aesthetics with contemporary urban subjects, showcasing the camera’s capabilities through a modern visual narrative.

Fendi Seoul After Party: A Collaboration with Bureau Betak

Commissioned by the world-renowned creative agency Bureau Betak, this project captures the vibrant energy of the Fendi After Party in Seoul. The photography focuses on the intersection of Bureau Betak’s avant-garde set design and the presence of Fendi’s global ambassadors, including Lee Min-ho, Song Hye-kyo, Zico, and Ko So-young. The imagery highlights the sophisticated interplay of light, structure, and high-fashion elegance within a uniquely curated architectural space.

Defining a Legend: Portrait Series for Poppin' Hyun-joon's Memoirs

This portrait series was commissioned for the 2022 autobiography of Poppin' Hyun-joon, the legendary South Korean dancer and artist. Captured to reflect both his artistic intensity and personal depth, the imagery serves as a visual soul for his memoirs. The session focuses on the raw energy and movement that define his lifelong journey, bridging the gap between his stage persona and his authentic self.

LUCY: Virtual Influencer Visual Campaign | Lotte Homeshopping | Seoul

LUCY, the hyper-realistic virtual influencer created by Lotte Homeshopping, is featured in this conceptual portrait series. A prominent figure on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, LUCY defines the future of digital fashion and lifestyle content. Since her debut, I have served as the lead photographer for her ongoing monthly visual campaigns, translating diverse themes and narratives into striking imagery. These visuals not only fuel her social media presence but also headline Lotte’s exclusive home shopping broadcasts, bridging the gap between virtual persona and real-world brand influence.
This editorial portrait was produced for a special 2022 feature on Arirang TV's "1DAY 1KOREA." The segment followed Simpson through the streets of Seoul, capturing his unique on-location photography process. These images were showcased during the interview to illustrate his signature visual rhythm and spontaneous approach to high-fashion aesthetics in everyday urban settings. The project highlights Simpson’s ability to translate the vibrant energy of Korea into compelling photographic narratives for a global audience.

Jeep Wrangler 4xe: Hybrid Launch Campaign | South Korea​​​​​​​

This series captures the dual nature of the Jeep Wrangler 4xe through two distinct photographic perspectives. The first part highlights the rugged power of the plug-in hybrid Wrangler during its official launch event amidst the challenging terrain of Taebaek. The second part features a sophisticated lifestyle portrait of brand ambassadors Ji So-yeon and Song Jae-hee, reflecting the modern elegance of the 4xe. Together, these images illustrate Jeep’s new vision of "Freedom and Adventure," bridging the gap between raw off-road performance and refined urban lifestyle.
